Founded under the Patronage of Nelson Mandela, Laureus Sport for Good uses sport as a powerful and cost-effective tool to help children and young people overcome violence, discrimination and disadvantage in their lives. Over the past two decades, they have developed a global network of grantee partners and a worldwide charitable infrastructure.  They have also developed a depth of understanding and corresponding credibility in their field and are recognised as a leading organisation in the fast-growing Sport for Development community.

Laureus Sport for Good now seek an established social sector leader to join their high performing board to support and provide governance of the highest quality and rigour as the organisation enters a phase of increased impact and growth.
The new Trustee will share the motivation and values of Laureus Sport for Good, be willing to make a strategic contribution as a learning partner to a board and will bring a background in and strong understanding of the issues affecting the international development sector.

You will bring considerable senior leadership experience within a charity or social sector organisation of some scale and complexity along with a strong impact focus.
