The Deputy Chief Executive is responsible for leading and developing the internal workings and delivery of Settlement services and as such, must have an excellent and proven track record of managing people through effective leadership with ability to motivate and inspire to get the best out of people.
The successful candidate will also have a proven track record in developing new services and growing existing services; maximising both people and physical resources. The role cuts across all Settlement service areas and will ensure activities are integrated and maximised for our people and clients; creating opportunities for individuals to grow and influence the services they want and need. The post-holder will have excellent communication and financial management skills, work closely with the Chief Executive and Board of Trustees and play a key role in securing the sustainability and long term development of Birmingham Settlement. This is a very busy front facing role that cuts across all aspects of the charity.
