Harris Hill is proud to be partnering with the National Literacy Trust, who are looking for a Campaigns Officer.
As part of the National Literacy Trust's Campaigns Team, the Campaigns Officer will have two primary focuses: Hungry Little Minds, a public-facing campaign; and Small Talk, a behaviour change campaign.
Based in London but working nationally, the Campaigns Officer will be responsible for contributing towards the planning and delivery of behaviour change campaigns in their national Hubs and other target areas. This includes innovative campaign strategies to spread impactful key messages among communities and affect behaviours among target demographics.
Partnership working is a key element of the National Literacy Trust's success, and the Campaigns Officer will be expected to build relationships with partners including the media, local businesses, schools, libraries, sporting clubs and more, as well as organising community engagement events and initiatives involving local children and families.
In relation to the inherent variety of campaigning, this particular role has a core mix of project management, behaviour change, community engagement and communications/marketing, along with broader partnership working. As such, the postholder will need to demonstrate experience of these elements, as well as, ideally, knowledge of local or regional campaigning.
This post is initially available until 30th March 2020, with the possibility of being made permanent, depending on funding: the two key campaigns are initially funded until 30th March 2020 but will be reviewed in the coming months. This is a full-time position paying circa. 26,000 p.a.
