Job Details

How better to use your in-depth understanding of HRIS applications than in helping to ensure the successful management of HR Systems and MI reporting for the world’s leading independent conservation organisation? We are determined to ensure that people and nature can thrive together, for generations to come. You can now help make this happen. This HRIS and MI Specialist role is vital to delivering a key HR System Project designed to bring together disparate systems and improve organisational performance.

Working closely with our supplier partner you will act the first point of contact for any HR Systems queries with a strong focus on managing HR data and security processes. You will be involved in producing data extracts, ensuring data integrity for data loads and validating data.  We will look to you to collect and analyse data, track trends and ensure systems are compliant. You will also be integral in testing the new system, ensuring data outputs are correctly calculated and delivering training to new users. You will design and generate reports as well as provide regular and ad hoc management information too. Important will be the ability to trouble shoot user problems and technical issues as needed.

You must have a good understanding of HRIS applications from a technical perspective and sound knowledge of the architecture used to support business applications, such as web, application, batch and database servers. You will have experience of managing HR systems/databases, in particular iTrent and/or OpenHR, and using the application delivery life cycle. Your background will have given you a broad understanding of how MI supports the organisation decision-making process coupled with the ability to create reports using Business Objects.

Comfortable influencing stakeholders, you will be an excellent communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills. Good at operating as part of a team or independently you will enjoy working to tight deadlines and solving problems.

Company

Best known as the world’s leading conservation body, we’ve seen first-hand how wildlife, the environment and human activity are all interlinked.

That’s why our passion for safeguarding the natural world has to be backed up by other environmental action – tackling the global threat of climate change (through our big global campaigns like Earth Hour) and helping people to change the way they live to ease pressure on natural resources.

WWF is at the heart of global activities in all these areas. We have teams of highly skilled professionals working with governments, businesses and communities here in the UK and around the world.
