Part Time - 2 x 20 hrs per week and 1 x 30 hrs per week

£9.06 per hour

 

Our client is a leading provider of mental health services in Birmingham and the West Midlands.

 

They are currently seeking Waking Night Residential Support Workers to work in partnership with people who are experiencing mental health difficulties on an individual basis, using a person centred recovery approach that focuses on maintaining and strengthening their presence in the community.

 

Within this role you’ll support service users to maximise their independence in accordance with their individual needs, maintain a visual presence throughout the night and provide care and support throughout the night, checking on residents in line with their personal care and support plans. You’ll also respond promptly to any calls for assistance, act as the first point of call for emergencies and play an active role in the completion and implementation of person centred care plans and risk assessments.

 

The successful candidate will have experience of working / volunteering in an adult social care environment or health and social care setting and will be able to demonstrate care and organisational values such as choice, privacy, independence, dignity, respect, equality and inclusion. You’ll have a positive attitude towards those who have experienced mental health difficulties and you’ll be committed to user involvement and empowerment, ensuring choice, dignity and respect is maintained and promoted.
