A central London based consumer healthcare association, they represent the interests of their members by acting as the voice of the industry by promoting it's interests and influencing policy.


  • You will be the first point of communication for enquiries about the organisation and current issues within the industry
  • Proactively managing issues in the media that relate to the organisation and it's industry and ensuring coverage is fair and balanced
  • Working collaboratively with senior management to plan engaging communications campaigns

  • Producing engaging content for aimed to engage the membership base

  • Building and maintaining relationships with key media members, industry stakeholders and internal teams
  • Advise spokespeople and internal teams on key messaging and media issues
  • Develop content for the digital channels


You will be a senior media and communications manager with significant experience managing press offices preferably within a membership organisation. You will have strong knowledge of the healthcare/medical sector and the issues surrounding it. In addition you will have:

  • Positive relationships within the media
  • Experience in reputation and crisis management
  • Be able to navigate difficult policy topics
  • Experience developing member communications across online content and email communications
  • A proven record of developing strategic media campaigns
  • Experience managing a communications team

Job Offer

This is a full time, permanent role paying £50,000-£55,000 per annum + benefits.
