Job Title:  HR Advisor

Salary:  £30K - £35K

Hours of work:  Full Time/Permanent

Location:  Bournemouth

We are working in partnership with YMCA Bournemouth who help combat youth homelessness and enable positive change for young people’s lives. YMCA’s vision is of an inclusive Christian movement to transform communities so that everyone truly belongs, contributes and thrives.  YMCA offer a diverse range of programmes helping to serve the needs of the local community from housing, youth work and children’s work to health and fitness. They support children, young people and their families to become all that they can be.

The charity is now seeking to appoint an HR Advisor to support and work with the CEO to establish a flourishing work culture consistent with their Christian heritage.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

  • CIPD level 5 and /or chartered membership
  • Through and up to date knowledge of employment law
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong resolution skills
  • Ability to balance and manage a complex caseload
  • High IT proficiency including the use of Microsoft Office and to be able to use cloud-based email and cloud HR systems
  • Ability to travel between sites
