The Brilliant Club is a national charity that exists to challenge this statistic. Working with schools, universities and partners across the education system, we mobilise the academic research community to share its expertise with state schools, delivering programmes that help address educational disadvantage through direct intervention and teacher recruitment and development.

Founded in 2011, The Brilliant Club has grown to be one of the largest widening participation charities in the UK, now reaching nearly 15,000 pupils across the UK and working in partnership with 800 schools and over 35 of the country's most selective universities. Whilst we are delighted with our progress to date, we are ambitious to increase reach and impact as we enter our next 5 year strategic planning phase, setting out our ambitions for the development of the charity until 2026. Our new CEO will play a pivotal role in shaping this strategy, whilst continuing to deliver high-quality programmes for the pupils we serve.

We are looking for a credible, outcomes driven senior leader with experience of delivering high quality, ambitious and impactful programmes. You will have strong strategic and financial acumen, ideally with experience of developing and delivering commercial relationships against targets. You will bring excellent ambassadorial and leadership skills with experience of successfully managing a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior leaders across Government and the education sector. You will be comfortable working collegiately with a focussed Executive Leadership Team and be a visible leader for the whole charity. A clear commitment to the mission and values of The Brilliant Club will be essential.
