Information and Support Manager
Prospectus is partnering with Scleroderma & Raynaud's UK (SRUK), the only charity dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by Scleroderma and Raynaud's, both autoimmune, connective tissue conditions. They exist to improve awareness and understanding of these conditions, to support those affected, and ultimately to find a cure.At an exciting time of growth, they are currently seeking to recruit an Information and Support Manager to lead the delivery of their support services on offer to their community of people.
As their Information and Support Manager, you will be responsible for managing and delivering their information offering across various communication channels. This includes ensuring that the information provided to service users is evidence based and up to date, as well as in line with Information Quality Standards. In addition, you will also be responsible for managing the development of their support network by overseeing the charity's volunteer helpline, developing their support group networks and leading on the delivery of their information days.
To be successful, you will have a proven track record of project delivery success, working across various stakeholders in the health or social care sector. This is a crucial role for the charity, and as such you will have previous experience of support network development combined with the knowledge and understanding of a patient centric approach, ideally within a medical research charity or relatable sector. The ability to development and maintain collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders is essential, as is a flexible approach to managing change.
