The challenge of delivering better welfare on a global scale for millions of donkeys and mules is complex and ever changing. In order to affect change on a global scale we are looking to recruit a Head of Campaigns who can face these challenges and create engaging and effective campaigns that will change the world for these magnificent animals and for the communities who rely on them.
The Role
As Head of Campaigns, you will work closely with the Director of Policy, Advocacy and Campaigns and the Head of Advocacy to lead on the implementation and management of inspiring campaigns.
You will lead campaigns across global regions and will possess the ability to react quickly to events that require a rapid response. You will offer campaigning advice and translate complex messages to a wide range of stakeholders including senior management and international colleagues.
About You

You will also possess excellent communication, diplomacy, writing, editorial, and organisational skills, with the natural ability to influence stakeholders.
You will possess significant post qualification experience in a strategic campaigns leadership role, having designed and implemented campaign strategies that influence decision-makers and help build powerful partnerships for change.
If you feel you have the qualities, skills and experience to fulfil this varied, rewarding and vital role, and would like to be part of the evolving programme of change taking place within the charity, we would love to hear from you.
In return…
You can be part of an evolving program of change taking place within a leading charity working in an area of outstanding natural beauty. With amazing benefits and opportunities to develop you career, you can really make a difference in a fulfilling and rewarding role.
About the Organisation
The charity is one of the UK’s largest international animal welfare charities, currently supporting projects in over 35 countries worldwide. They are working for a world where donkeys and mules live free from suffering and their contribution to humanity is fully valued.
