Are you ready for the next step in your housing career?

Our client is an award-winning ALMO delivering high-quality housing services for residents living in 21,000 homes in East London.  Delivering services for Tower Hamlets Council, they’re more than just a housing management company. Their vision is to create thriving, safe, and sustainable neighbourhoods where residents can be proud of their homes, respect one another and realise their potential.

They’ve won the prestigious Landlord of the Year award and the Inclusion and Diversity Pioneer award at the UK Housing Awards in 2019 and two Engagement Excellence awards in 2018, recognising their modern and forward-looking approach to employee reward and recognition.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for us as a Senior Business Improvement Officer.

The Role:

In this role you will help shape the future and ensure our client is well placed to respond to new challenges arising from the Social Housing Green Paper. You will be involved in the development of strategies, policies and procedures that are designed to meet the needs of all customers and that lead to continuous service improvement. You will also have a specific responsibility to lead on equality and diversity; championing an inclusive culture and ensuring services are accessible and fair.

The ideal candidate will place customers at the forefront of everything they do and be skilled in working with colleagues to successfully implement change. If you have an innovative mind-set, with a strong service improvement ethic and an excellent understanding of the sector this role could be for you.

The offer to applicants

In return for you choosing to work here, our client will offer you a range of great benefits, including:

• 26 days’ paid holiday each year, plus 8 bank holidays

• A fantastic career-average pension scheme;

• Salary Sacrifice schemes;

• Amazing commercial discounts, including discounts at many gyms, shops and restaurants;

• Your voice heard through our staff forum and networking groups for women and LGBT staff;

• Newly refurbished offices, with free tea, coffee and fruit, and shower facilities;

• Interest-free season ticket loans.

Additional Information

Our client is an inclusive employer serving a diverse community.  They therefore welcome applications from all sections of the community including women, disabled candidates, LGBT+ and Black and Minority Ethnic (BME).

Requests to work flexibly can also be considered subject to service requirements.
