Supported Housing Worker (Substance Misuse)
Our client are a charity and housing association, providing specialist residential, community and prison-based support to those with substance misuse issues for over 50 years. They now currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supported Housing Worker to join one of their dedicated accommodation teams based in Lewisham.
As a Supported Housing Worker you will work as part of a team to develop and maintain high quality supported accommodation services to individuals working towards recovery from drug and alcohol use. You will participate in psychologically informed approaches to service delivery, ensuring the service operates in a responsive and dynamic way to the presenting needs of service users. You will ensure that the accommodation is maintained to a high standard of repair, and ultimately provides a safe, welcoming space for those who live there.
To apply for this role, you must have demonstrable experience of working in residential service with people with supported needs related to alcohol/substance misuse and mental health. You must have the ability to manage a caseload of clients with complex needs, and experience of working in partnership with a range of other agencies.
Overall you will be energetic, and engaging, passionate about ensuring high level of support needs to those with substance misuse issues.
Please note, this role will be covering a 7-day rota (covering 2 weekends per month).
