Business Development Director
Salary: £31,980 - £42,640 per annum, actual - depending on working hours (FTE £53,300)
Contract: Permanent, part-time (21 - 28 hours per week, to be agreed with successful candidate)
Based: Littlemore, Oxford with travel to other sites as required
With 150 staff and 1,800 volunteers and supported by 52,000 members, this wildlife charity is embarking on a new phase as it pursues its strategic plan Be Part of Nature’s Recovery. In the face of the growing challenges facing our beautiful countryside, real leadership is needed at all levels in the organisation combined with courage and urgency.
They are looking for a Business Development Director with great team leadership skills and a demonstrable record of success in generating substantial income and impactful brand and messaging. Working closely with the Chief Executive and wider team, the post holder’s work will support the goal that everyone should have the chance to experience local wildlife and the benefits of encountering nature first hand.
This is a new role and the organisations wants the best person with the best fit for them at a pivotal time so they can be flexible about your hours. Initially they estimate 21-28 hours per week will work for them. They are particularly keen to receive applications from under-represented groups in their society.
This charity is a membership-based voluntary organisation, managing over 80 nature reserves, influencing land management and educating and encouraging all sectors of the community to care for local wildlife.
