Prospectus are delighted to be partnering with an environmental law establishment in recruiting a new Head of Climate Programmes. The non-profit organisation are a team of lawyers and environmental experts who are fighting against climate change.

The Role:

Our objective is to encourage a shift towards cleaner, more sustainable and resilient social, political and economic systems, which fully integrate environmental externalities and do not simply pass costs on to future generations.

As part of the Programme Management Group the Head of Climate is responsible for managing a team of lawyers and as applicable, other programme staff working on climate accountability and climate finance related advocacy, litigation and policy.

The Person:

- Law Degree or equivalent

- Litigation experience (highly desirable)

- A practical, outcome focused approach to the law

- Strong knowledge and expertise in corporate advisory work ideally with significant experience advising public companies at Board level

- Sound knowledge and expertise relevant to corporate and finance law, including an understanding regarding its intersection with climate-related financial risks
