Fundraising Manager (Trusts & Foundations) - Flexible Working

The Catholic charity, Fellowship and Aid to the Christians of the East (FACE), is the sister branch of Oeuvre d’Orient – the leading international Catholic NGO in France.

For the past 160 years, Oeuvre d’Orient has been supporting Eastern Christians in the Middle East and enabling the survival of Christianity in the Biblical lands through long-term projects in humanitarian aid, education, evangelization, health care and pastoral support. FACE has total access to Oeuvre d’Orient’s networks in the Middle East and North Africa, including its close links to the patriarchs, dioceses and parishes of the Eastern Catholic Churches. FACE delivers grant aid directly to specific projects which have been proposed and vetted by local dioceses in conjunction with Oeuvre d’Orient.

The Role

You will manage and develop a pipeline of donors from trusts, foundations and statutory organizations in order to raise significant income for the charity.   You will build and nurture relationships with these donors with care and stewardship. You will be particularly adept and resourceful at prospecting for potential new donor partnerships.

Person Specification

You will have sound experience in securing funds from a range of trusts, foundations and public bodies. You will possess excellent communication skills in order to engage and inspire donors with the mission of FACE. You will also have the capacity to devise and implement a bespoke fundraising strategy. You will have empathy for the mission of FACE. 

Benefits

You will receive a salary of £35,000, 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays) and the option of flexible working hours including some working from home after probation.
