Your new role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Event Fundraiser to join our busy Fundraising Team who currently raises £1 million annually through bespoke fundraising events and projects.

The Senior Event Fundraiser role will lead on all bespoke fundraising events, delivering outstanding event management, stewardship and marketing to inspire and motivate event fundraisers. Specifically the post holder will work with the Community and Events Fundraising Manager to develop, deliver and implement a strategy to maximise income and support the short, medium and long-term sustainability of the organisation. This will fit within the overarching Fundraising Strategy and the Community and Events Strategy. They will manage the performance of event fundraising activities to ensure that ambitious targets are achieved through delivery of the current programme and introducing new, exciting projects to expand St Christopher’s event portfolio.

We are seeking an experienced, target-driven events fundraiser who is ready to take the next step in their career to help us continue to grow income and deliver our ambitious targets. You will have previous experience of community and events fundraising and supporter care. You will be able to demonstrate experience on working on a mass participation event and developing, implementing and successful delivery of fundraising events. You will be comfortable building relationships to secure support and raise awareness of the organisation and have proven experience to recruit, steward and retain dedicated supporters. We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills who is able to interact with a wide variety of individuals to achieve positive outcomes and establish sustainable relationships and partnerships.
