Prospectus is delighted to be assisting Peter Bedford Housing Association (PBHA) to recruit for a new Director of Services.

PBHA is a housing association with charitable aims that creates positive change in people's lives. As well as homes and support, they empower people to learn, access work and discover their creative talents. Based mainly in Hackney and Islington, PBHA work with people who are homeless, have mental ill health, learning difficulties and multiple needs. Their work enables people to move on and lead independent lives.

The Role:

Working alongside the Senior Management Team, The Director of Services leads the Housing, Recovery, Property, Training and Enterprises functions across the organisation.

Aims of the Post

- To lead client focused Housing, Recovery, Training and Enterprises services across PBHA which drive the strategic direction of the organisation

- To develop services strategically relevant to local stakeholders, meeting local need and offering creative solutions to local partners

- To lead on fundraising bids in close partnership with the Fundraiser utilising PBHA's capacity to support greater numbers of people in need of support and housing

- To enable the services department to meet current and future strategic objectives through actively managing change and adapting services and resources

- To lead on developing their assets to provide high quality homes for those most in need

- To influence and ensure PBHA's central services are flexible and responsive to meeting the needs of client focused services

The Person:

- Significant experience delivering change and high quality leadership in a supported housing, adult learning or housing management field

- Significant demonstrable experience of organisational leadership at a senior level

- Experience of developing new income streams and securing contracts through tendering

- Significant experience of delivering high quality and complex services for vulnerable adults or similar client group

- Experience of securing and maintaining effective partnerships, both internal and external
