Our client is one of the leading learning disability charities in the country, providing support for 3,000 people with a learning disability and employing around 3000 staff. Operationally, they have been and continue to be innovative in recognising and championing good support, whilst taking an alternative view at how support is provided. Their efforts are sector leading and recognised and observed by CQC and local authorities who provide most of the funding for care packages.

Working within the Quality & Improvement Team the Quality Assurance & Improvement Auditor will be responsible for driving quality as set out in the Quality Strategy to support services.

Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £31,122 per annum + company car

About the role:

Supporting the Quality & Improvement Manager, the post holder is part of a team to ensure all services are safe and compliant in line with regulatory & contractual requirements while supporting the regions to achieve great outcomes for the people they support.

The Quality Assurance and Improvement Auditor will work closely with all operational Managers to assess the risk and lead on the development and implementation plan as required.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting good governance and continuous improvement across the organisation.

You will carry out an annual programme of Compliance audits and be involved in assessing, monitoring and reporting on operational delivery of Services. This will include working with services across all regions and will involve regular travel and overnight stays

About you:

- You will have an understanding or background in quality assurance and / or audit processes within a Social Care setting with the ability to analyse data and produce written reports, enabling you to make improvements and support managers with SMART action planning.
- Experience of managing the operational delivery of services, an understanding of the Quality Care Commission, Registered Services and Registered Managers requirements and current legislation are essential requirements.
- You will need to hold full, current UK / EU driving licence.
- Having a management qualification and previous audit experience are both desirable.
