The Citizens Advice service in Esher is seeking a Chief Executive Officer who can lead a dedicated and highly professional team of paid staff and volunteers to provide our advice service in east Elmbridge.

Serving the local community since 1973, our office helps around 3,000 people every year with over 12,500 problems.  Our services are funded by local and national contracts and grants, and we work with a range of stakeholders including the local authority, housing associations and other charities.  Our annual income is approximately £140,000.

As CEO you will work closely with the Trustee Board and other local organisations, combining strategic and operational skills with a strong motivation to take up new opportunities to develop services for our local community.  As part of a small paid team, you will also supervise some of our advice sessions so will need to demonstrate your ability and experience to meet our organisation’s competence requirements for this role.

We are a registered charity with an experienced Board of Trustees who are ambitious and determined to assist local people when they really need a helping hand and sound advice. We are accredited by and part of the National Citizens Advice network.
