Job Details

Operations Manager
Small Axe
£29,000 - £35,000
Full-time, permanent

A reliable, detail-oriented person with a passion for progressive politics.

Small Axe is a not-for-profit with one goal: to create movements that are progressive, hopeful and powerful, to inspire people to act on the most pressing issues of our time. We bring together bold creative, communications and organising to run integrated end-to-end campaigns.

We see the world as it is - rife with inequality, environmental neglect and elitist politics. Never in our lifetime has the future felt so insecure. But this isn’t a time to hang back, it’s a time to grab onto hope, that’s why we are ambitious about building up leaders and movements to bring about the change we need.

Culture is our lifeblood -it’s how our values come to life. We hire people who believe deeply in the causes we’re working for and who recognise the need for systemic change. We recognise how important it is that our team loves the day-to-day of campaign work, to be good at what you do you have to love it, to constantly grow our ambition and get satisfaction from doing a good job.

We’re a small team and we’re looking for an Operations Manager to be a rock in the organisation. You’ll work closely with our management team to ensure we’re running smoothly and sustainably, maintain the day-to-day running of the office and work to support our positive and open working culture through policies and processes.

You will be a gifted administrator that understands a role like this is about more than good reports and recordkeeping - it’s the engine for an organisation’s sustainability, growth and impact.

Closing date: 10.00 a.m. Monday 14th October

Application is by way of CV and a Supporting Statement
