The key responsibilities for the SEO Manager, Bristol Based:

Product management

• Global ownership of Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools

Insight

• Identify keyword opportunities to improve organic traffic performance

• Analyse organic traffic performance using IBM, GA and other third party enterprise software

Identify SEO issues & provide actions to rectify

• Minimise page crawl errors to ensure best possible indexing of the companies websites in search engines

• Optimise all technical functionalities of Hybris CMS for efficient crawling and indexing of companies websites

• Introduce and influence web developments to aid and improve SEO

• Manage SEO audits of all Company websites

• Manage sitemaps of all websites for efficient search engine crawling

• Monitor all site redirects ensuring minimal redirect chains and broken links

• Manage structured data improvements to all website content and product pages

• Support wider e-commerce team with SEO related website improvements and developments

• Liaise with external agencies to improve our onsite and offsite SEO including content campaigns and link building

• Communicate SEO developments with wider e-commerce team

Profile

The successful SEO Manager will have:



* Educated to Degree standard





* Minimum of 2-3 years' experience within an e-commerce role





* Experienced user of at least one digital analytics platform





* Experience of Google product such as Search Console or Adwords





* Experience of ecommerce activities such as search optimisation, configuring web software





* Familiarity with front end code html, js, css





* Skilled with Microsoft Office - excel / access etc





* Numerate & literate





* Attention to detail





* Data driven approach to SEO





* Strong web analytical skills and experience with web analytical software





* Experience with international SEO across languages and regions





* Expert on all aspects of technical SEO





* Keep up to date on all developments in the SEO community





* Comfortable using large scale CMS software





* Experienced with website migrations
