A leading NHS body who are looking to deliver a prestigious global event next year. This conference will involve 80 expert speakers and delegates from medical professionals around the world. This will be our first such event and we anticipate involving senior UK Government representatives.

Description

You will be an experienced events manager with strong international events planning and relationship building skills, together with an excellent stakeholder engagement and project management background.

This role is responsible for the fulfilment of the entire project including development of the programme content, devising a marketing plan, ensuring the successful execution of the logistical arrangements and production of a final report with first class evaluation against the event objectives.

The post holder requires good working knowledge of health or medical indemnity issues and to possess excellent writing, organisational and negotiation skills.

You'll have a hands-on approach to delivering key elements of the global conference - including managing expert input into the conference content; producing marketing materials; developing and enhancing engaging communications channels particularly across digital platforms.

You will lead a small virtual team to help deliver the event.

You will also be accountable for engaging a group of senior stakeholders who will oversee the editorial content of the conference, calling for good programme governance and stakeholder management skills.

As well as demonstrating your ability to deliver a high profile event to a high quality standard, you need a keen eye for detail and experience of evaluating success.

Ideally you will bring creative flair to our team and show a willingness to work with a wide range of people internally and outside the organisation.
