This is a pivotal role working at City Hall to help deliver the Mayor’s environment priorities and objectives including making London a zero carbon and zero emission city through initiatives such as the Ultra Low Emission Zone and our energy programmes.

As Senior Adviser, you will provide strategic support and advice to the Deputy Mayor for Environment and Energy. You will work with GLA teams to develop policy, monitor programmes and ensure the priorities of the Mayor are delivered. You will review and provide advice on external communications, and you will also represent the Deputy Mayor on relevant policy matters within the GLA, GLA Group and with external bodies as required.

This job is ‘politically restricted’ under the Local Government and Housing Act 1989.
