Sense has an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join us as our National Events Manager. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week at our Head Office in King's Cross, London, on a fixed term contract for 12 months.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive events fundraiser to join our ambitious National Events team. This role will lead on the planning and delivery of the Virgin Money London Marathon and the stewardship of our Ride London team. As two of our headline events, you will be responsible for recruiting an enthusiastic team of over 450 runners as well as delivering a brilliant supporter journey for all our runners and riders in these events.

This role will also line manage a National Events Fundraiser who will support on these headline events but also deliver their own core events.

About you 

Our ideal candidate will have experience of managing large teams of participants and delivering an excellent supporter journey. You will have experience of creating project plans and evaluations as well as using data to inform your decisions. You will also be able to manage time effectively, be able to prioritise and have excellent communication skills, both in writing and over the phone.

Previous experience of line management is desirable but not essential.
