Director of Finance - 3 days

Harris Hill are recruiting for a Director of Finance on a 3 day a week basis, for this well-established Charity based in Sussex

Salary: 55,000pa Pro Rata
Location: Sussex
Day: 3 days a week, with 1 day working from home if required

The Director of Finance will focus on ensuring that the charities Finance and IT services deliver its mission and achieve its strategic goals. Reporting directly to the CEO and as part of the Senior Management Team, the post-holder will play an important role in the leadership and management in helping deliver their ambitious strategy to 2021 and beyond.

The Director of Finance is responsible for the preparation of all financial information, relating to strategic projections, annual planning, budgeting and statutory accounts, monthly management accounts, audit processes and ensuring adequate financial controls and governance are in place including in our overseas programmes (this may require some international travel). They will contribute to risk management and will manage a small finance and administration team.

The Person
The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader with strong programmes experience who is CCAB qualified (or QBE) with experience of producing accounts compliant with the Charities SORP and with managing restricted funding.
