Special Events and Outreach Manager
Prospectus is excited to be supporting an international charity in their search for a Special Events and Outreach Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join an impactful team for an organisation that provides world-class health and educational support to orphaned and vulnerable children living in the townships of Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation and delivery of high-end events to display the charity's work.
The ideal candidate will lead on the running of the charity's flagship gala dinner as well as its smaller events. The ideal candidate will have a flair for event logistics, being able to negotiate with vendors and suppliers and able to run large teams including volunteers. The ideal candidate will have a knack for project management and be prepared to source and work with a wide variety of suppliers.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with building relationships with high net-worth individuals, foundations and corporations to raise essential event revenue, maintain and secure support from the previously mentioned groups and raise awareness of the organisation during all interactions with them.
