Head of Finance (1 day per week)

We at Harris Hill are grateful for your interest in the part-time Head of Finance role. This is a new role with-in the senior management team of an exciting UK based social enterprise, you will report directly to the chief executive and the management board, this role marks an investment in the next phase of their development.

The purpose of the role is to take the lead on the statutory, financial and management accounting aspects of thier voluntary sector and commercial operation activities.

In addition, you will support the Chief Executive and senior leadership team with detailed financial appraisals, support with the preparation of budgets for funding applications and the preparation of detailed monthly P & L accounts. Finally, the role will lead on thier statutory financial reporting annually and work with the auditors.

As a growing social enterprise, they are targeting a £1m annual revenue threshold, which brings a higher level of financial reporting and they are seeking an experienced finance professional who could support them and the wider growth of the organisation.

Initially the twelve-month post is being offered as a part-time role (up to 8 hours per week) and offers a competitive salary of between 41,000 - 45,000 pro-rata based on qualifications and experience.

We are ideally seeking a qualified accountant with at least three-years experience of charity accounting working within at least a £1m revenue organisation. (however if you are qualied by experience feel free to get in touch)
