A high profile government organisation

Description

  • Lead on PR activity promoting the organisations brand
  • Developing and implementing activity aligned with the organisation strategy
  • Develop and implement a media contact programme
  • Work alongside the Head of Communications on proactive and reactive media as well as crisis communications
  • When issues arise work closely with colleagues to enable to drafting of statements to ensure relevant partner press offices are briefed
  • Oversee the digital delivery of the organisations corporate social channels and corporate social media
  • Develop and manage 1 direct report

Profile

  • Have substantial experience working within a busy press/media office
  • Experience working with journalists, media and colleagues at all levels
  • Experience of managing social media in a corporate office
  • Be able to act as a spokesperson to all media (TV, Radio, Press)

Job Offer

This role is a contract role running until the end of March paying £47,100 per annum starting ASAP.
