Parkinson's is the second most common neurological condition affecting 1 in 37 people and comes with a shopping list of around 50 symptoms. The Cure Parkinson's Trust has one ambitious goal - to find a cure. The charity was set up in 2005, by four people living with Parkinson's, to address the lack of breakthrough in drugs to treat this condition and is now looking to step up their capacity with six new hires.

Senior Trusts Officer

Prospectus is excited to be partnering with the Cure Parkinson's Trust on this recruitment campaign to recruit for a new Senior Trusts Officer. This role is offered on a permanent full time basis to work in Central London paying £37,000 per annum with interviews being held for the role in week commencing October 7th.

At the moment, the charity has a range of partnerships with trusts and foundations with four and five figure yearly levels and an overall target of £500,000 per year. The step change from £3 million to £7 million a year in overall income that the charity is focused on will in part be delivered with someone in this post focused on delivering five and six figure plus bids.

You will lead the charity's trust fundraising programme and be responsible for working with people across the charity to build compelling cases for support that will deliver compelling and successful trust applications. You will be responsible for the management of all existing relationships and expected to generate a strong prospect pipeline to grow the portfolio of small, medium, large and multi-year funders.

This is a hands-on role for someone with good, demonstrable experience in delivering trust fundraising income and managing relationships with charitable trusts and foundations. The Senior Trusts Fundraising Officer will report into the Head of Philanthropy.
