Description

• Task and project management - Ensure that there are effective work plans and project plans in place to enable you to translate strategy into deliverable work programmes, with deadlines and targets that are controlled and monitored

• Plan, coordinate, create and project manage campaigns for an internal and external audience across a range of channels, including websites, email, social media, print and events

• Curate and create content that engages a variety of audiences internally and externally

• Collaborate with communications colleagues to deliver comprehensive communication and engagement strategies internally and externally

• Support the Head of Communications & Engagement with developing effective media relations and an effective PR strategy. This includes handling of the media plan and reporting on press coverage.

• Managing information and data to effectively target, monitor and evaluate the impact of communications, campaigns and events, to enable improvement and reach.

Profile

In order to be successfully shortlisted for the role you must have demonstrable experience of the following:

• 2 years' experience in a communications role
• Technical skills:
  • Copywriting
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe programmes (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Corporate event coordination and attendance
  • Analysis of communications activity and making informed recommendations
• Professional qualities:

Job Offer

Interim role to start immediately with potential to go permanent

£15-16ph (including holiday pay) dependant on experience

35 hours per week (9am-5pm)
