My client who's a national Deaf charity is looking for a proactive and switched on HR Officer to join their HR team in south-west London. The charity aims to provide Deaf people with access to healthcare and health information. They are also a Disability Confident employer with the associated accreditation.
The Office is located in Balham, close to the Northern line tube station. You'll be part of a HR team of two, where you'll play a key role in providing HR support across the charity. Over 70% of the charity is deaf so the HR Officer will also need to have a willingness to undertake training for British Sign Language (Level 1).
The HR Officer will lead on the day to day HR issues, with a focus on Employee Relations. You'll manage the recruitment campaigns and work closely with all areas of the organisation. Furthermore, you'll support the Head of HR with L&D training sessions when required. You'll also get the opportunity to travel as their services are located in Leeds, Manchester and Birmingham.
To be a success in the post my client is looking for someone who is either CIPD level 3 qualified or someone who meets the requirements through experience. Non-profit sector would also be very beneficial along with a knowledge of using Cascade.
This is the ideal role for an ambitious HR candidate who lives in either south-west London or Surrey. As the organisation is a Deaf charity they would welcome applicants who are Deaf or who understand and can use sign language.
