Communications Manager (6 months)

The post holder will play an important role in the development and implementation of the Trust's communications and engagement strategy
The post holder will play a lead role in building insight about the needs and preferences of our staff and developing overarching staff communications and engagement strategies.
The post holder will develop and manage integrated communications and engagement plans as part of change and development initiatives across the Trust
The post holder will be expected to deputise for the associate director for strategic communications and to support wider communications activities, as appropriate.
They will be leading and managing integrated communications and engagement projects and programmes, ensuring project aims are delivered on time and budget.
Devising and delivering/commissioning digital and hard copy communications and engagement collateral and activities, as required, working closely with the digital and content team and the events and planning team.
Undertaking project management, including procurement and tendering, developing specifications, supporting the development of business cases, completing project reports and producing presentations.
Strong NHS experience
Ability to lead an engagement programme and deliver effective communications
Good copy writing skills
Ability to project management and prioritise workload
Band 7 position
