Education Officer (Secondary School Delivery)

An award-winning Education Charity are looking for an engaging Education Officer to develop and deliver financial education programmes in schools and youth organisations across the London area.

The position will be appointed on an initial 12 month contract with a strong likelihood to extend.

You will be based in the central London head office and will travel regularly to secondary schools across London, especially during term time.

As the Education Officer, you'll deliver financial education workshops, lessons and sessions to a diverse range of young people to an exceptionally high standard, including topics like saving money and having a positive money mindset.

You will also be involved in the creative development and refinement of the financial education programmes and will use your good grasp of mathematics to build upon your subject knowledge and become an expert in financial and enterprise education.

You should be an energetic, engaging educator with a real interest in social change and empowering young people.

To be considered, you'll need to have a teaching qualification and at least 2 years teaching experience of delivering learning programmes to young people within a setting such as a school, community center, youth organisation, alternative education organisations etc.

While you don't need to be an expert in financial education, you should should be able to show a keen interest in alternative education that prepares young people for life after school.
