The charity aims to provide Deaf people with the same access to healthcare and health information as people with hearing. Deaf people are known to have poorer health and the charity wants to change that.
The Office is located in Balham, close to the Northern line tube station. The office is also a short walk from the High Street. You'll be part of a HR team of two, where you'll play a key role in providing HR support across the charity.
The HR Advisor will lead on employee relation cases and ensure the HR policies are up to date. You'll manage the recruitment activities which will range from writing job adverts to on-boarding new starters. Furthermore, you'll support the Head of HR and conduct HR training sessions when required. Finally, you'll need to create reports using MI systems and platforms (Cascade), making any changes when necessary.
To be a success in the post my client is looking for someone who is CIPD qualified with previous HR experience in the non-profit sector. A knowledge of using Cascade is also desirable. If you have excellent communication skills, good time management and a passion for HR then please apply.
