Our client a youth development and lifelong learning charity are seeking an experienced child safeguarding officer to support with a 4-month project to start ASAP.

Working alongside the safeguard lead, this role will mainly involve looking at archived and historical files which need to be reassessed/reviewed, to ensure the cases have been processed/closed correctly and raising and concerns to the lead. There will also be some basis admin involved with the role such as uploading files onto the internal system.

This role will require someone with previous child safeguarding experience at officer level, due to the nature of the role, and the sensitivity of the information an enhanced DBS will be required.
