Living Planet Centre, Woking, Surrey GU21 4LL

As the Senior Partnerships Manager, you’ll have the amazing opportunity to identify and secure the most critical partnerships we need in the fight for our world. We need to work with partners to scale our incredible on-the-ground work to help fix the food system, tackle climate change and halt nature’s destruction. We need to work with partners to help change consumer and business attitudes and behaviours and to create solutions in the fight for our world. Your role is instrumental in building these incredible, impactful partnerships.

As Senior Partnerships Manager, you will lead and deliver new partnership engagement strategies and development of new partnership approaches and proposals. You will manage a personal portfolio of major partnership prospects, engaging and building relationships across departments within leading companies and brands. You will be expected to make cold approaches and forge new relationships throughout. A natural collaborator, you’ll be adept at bringing colleagues with you and co-creating a compelling partnership pitch.

You will construct and deliver compelling pitches and proposals as well as negotiate strong partnership terms that meet both our and partner objectives. You’ll explore multi-consortia partnering opportunities to further leverage our impact through partnering. You will oversee the onboarding of new partnerships, allocate resources and implement account management structures as well as updating colleagues as required. You will also proactively develop relationships and use your understanding of our strategic priorities and the wider business agenda, to ensure key WWF issues and viewpoints can be expressed confidently at a senior level in meetings.

You must have significant experience of securing high value partnerships with leading corporates and brands in a commercial or charity setting. Used to engaging and networking at a CEO and Director level, you will possess a strong network of corporate contacts. You will have a firm understanding of the corporate sustainability and purpose agenda too and the ability to create compelling partnership visions and strategy. Experience of corporate fundraising and multi-consortia working is advantageous.

A team player you are adept at overcoming obstacles, you’ll have tenacity and drive and can demonstrate a commitment to the natural world and WWF’s core mission. Naturally warm and enthusiastic, you will also possess excellent networking, relationship-building communication and presentation skills.

Company

Best known as the world’s leading conservation body, we’ve seen first-hand how wildlife, the environment and human activity are all interlinked.

That’s why our passion for safeguarding the natural world has to be backed up by other environmental action – tackling the global threat of climate change (through our big global campaigns like Earth Hour) and helping people to change the way they live to ease pressure on natural resources.

WWF is at the heart of global activities in all these areas. We have teams of highly skilled professionals working with governments, businesses and communities here in the UK and around the world.
