Head of Fundraising

Up to £40K PA (based on performance history)

Homebased with some travel to head office in Peterborough

35 hours a week. Part-time hours will be considered upon enquiry

Shine is a thriving charity providing professional advice and support to those living with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus. The charity is embarking on an exciting fundraising strategy and is now recruiting for a Head of Fundraising to join the team.

Shine is looking for an outstanding, ambitious and compelling leader and fundraising expert to lead the Fundraising Team. The individual will:

  • Lead and manage the growth and development of Shine’s fundraising portfolio across corporate, community, individual giving and event activities to meet annual income generation targets and achieve a step change in income generation.
  • Manage Shine's Fundraising Team to achieve income targets.
  • Strategically plan activity across the fundraising portfolio with a focus on relationship-led initiatives, which attracts new, engaging existing and re-engaging past supporters to achieve income targets.
  • Have a specific focus on developing and growing corporate income.

We’re a team looking for someone to join us with:

  • Significant experience in corporate, community, individual giving and event fundraising.
  • Track record in growing corporate income through the management and development of a pipeline through to cultivating and stewarding corporate relationships.
  • An engaging and motivational leader
  • Experience in creating and reviewing budgets
  • Knowledge of the fundraising sector
  • Excellent organisational skills
