Leadership Fundraising Executive (2 posts)
University of Warwick
The University of Warwick is one of the most successful young universities in the UK. With a dynamic and forward-thinking culture, and a reputation for combining innovation with the relentless pursuit of excellence, it is firmly established within the top ten of all UK university rankings and currently 51st in the world. Its Development Office is on a similar trajectory. With the appointment of Matt Ferguson as its Director of Development at the start of 2018, the team has been challenged to raise the funds needed to take the University and its students to the next level.
To help meet this challenge, two Leadership Fundraising Executive roles have been created to raise philanthropic gifts for the University of Warwick, primarily in support of scholarships, widening participation, and unrestricted funding. These roles will contribute to the Development Team’s aspiration to lead a threefold increase in income by developing and managing a portfolio of prospects and projects (up to £100,000).
These roles present an exciting opportunity for the post holders to develop their skills and experience in major gift fundraising. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be required, as well as gifts experience (or high-level sales/business development environment), strong client/stakeholder management experience, and experience of working within a complex environment.
