Compliance Coordinator

£22,000 - £24,000

Living Planet Centre Woking, Surrey

A solid administrator with good data entry skills you are looking for a role with meaning. That is what we can offer you as a member of the world’s leading independent conservation organisation. We are working to halt and reverse nature's decline and you can play your part by joining us.

Our supporters are our lifeblood and our work is only possible thanks to their generosity. Consequently we take our responsibilities towards the public and our supporters very seriously and are constantly striving to deliver sector leading fundraising and engagement activity.

As Compliance Coordinator your role will be to deliver monitoring and reporting of our fundraising activities, as well as supporting our wider compliance work. You will ensure that we comply with the requirements of the Fundraising Regulator and all other relevant legislation and guidance. You will maintain records on compliance activities and help compile monthly and annual reporting. You will also support specific compliance programmes, such Gift Aid and credit card payments programmes. You will conduct quality assessment and mystery shopping of third-party suppliers too.

This is a great opportunity to begin a career in the interesting area of charity compliance.

You must have accurate data entry skills and an eye for detail. Proficient in MSOffice you will be comfortable using relevant in-house systems or databases. Good at solving problems you will be able to prioritise your workload and enjoy working as part of a team. Passionate about the aims of WWF familiarity with HMRC Gift Aid rules would be useful.

If you have the skills we need and are excited about helping build a movement in defence of nature please visit our website via the link, complete the online registration and submit a copy of your up to date CV with cover letter highlighting why you are interested in this role and why you believe you are suited for the role.

At WWF-UK we are committed to creating an inclusive working environment, where diversity is valued and there is equality of opportunity. We therefore welcome applications from all sections of the community and we offer a range of benefits to encourage a work life balance.

Our world needs you like never before. We are the first generation to know we are destroying the world and we could be the last that can do anything about it. We’re looking for people who are passionate about making it politically, socially and economically unacceptable to destroy our planet’s natural resources. We need you to join us in the fight for our world.

Company

Best known as the world’s leading conservation body, we’ve seen first-hand how wildlife, the environment and human activity are all interlinked.

That’s why our passion for safeguarding the natural world has to be backed up by other environmental action – tackling the global threat of climate change (through our big global campaigns like Earth Hour) and helping people to change the way they live to ease pressure on natural resources.

WWF is at the heart of global activities in all these areas. We have teams of highly skilled professionals working with governments, businesses and communities here in the UK and around the world.
