Prospectus is excited to be working with a mental health charity to recruit for a new Head of Community and Events. They have seen significant income growth recently, with community and challenge event income almost doubling over the past four years. They believe there is the opportunity to maintain this growth, and as a result increase the number of specialist dementia nurses and the support they provide.
This role is offered as a permanent, full time position based in their new Aldgate office paying circa Â£48,000 per annum with 33 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.
You will lead the team of 13 (8 office based and 5 home based across the UK), with three direct reports. You will have the opportunity to develop existing strategy and plans, and make your mark on the team and the charity; and they will give you all the support you need to help make the role a success.
They are looking for someone who is an experienced community and challenge events fundraiser, and will relish the opportunity of growing and developing the team and playing a key part in their success. Experience developing and executing digital marketing campaigns would be a big help going into this role.
