Prospectus is pleased to be partnering with Street League, the UK's leading sport for employment charity that delivers a powerful programme of sports combined with employability support to young people aged 16-24 from the most disadvantaged communities across the UK. At an exciting time for them, they are currently looking to recruit a Progression Coordinator to deliver employability workshops and support their new Academy in Hillingdon.

As their Progression Coordinator, you will work in partnership with colleagues to deliver and administer their core programmes across the local area. You will be responsible for securing employment, education and training opportunities for participants, as well as supporting and guiding them to progress. You will be responsible for the delivery of their Academy, in which you will deliver group employability and personal development workshops, as well as delivering a one to one employability service. Finally, you will maintain partnerships with referral agencies and develop further partnerships with employers and colleges in order to secure suitable opportunities for young people.

To be successful, you will have demonstrable experience of providing employability support to individuals in a one to one and workshop capacity. Whilst direct experience working with young people is desirable, knowledge and understanding of the barriers young people face into employment and training opportunities is essential, as is previous experience of managing challenging behaviour. Due to the nature of this position, previous experience of employer engagement is essential, as is possessing a strong track record of working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
