Our client provides a range of impactful care and support services to children, young people and adults with Learning Disabilities and complex needs across the London Borough of Newham and surrounding areas. Providing services across multiple sites, their work is aimed at helping service users to maintain their health, wellbeing and independence as well as providing respite to individuals with high support needs.  During a period of expansion, they are now recruiting a new, dedicated Registered Service Manager to oversee their small residential/respite service.    
          
As their Registered Service Manager, you will effectively lead and manage an Ofsted-rated service delivering flexible short break services to children and young people with disabilities and complex needs. You will work to promote effective partnerships with other agencies, services, the voluntary sector, and children/young people and their families through a person centred approach that supports independence and positive outcomes. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead the strategic development of the service in line with the organisation's business plan, and will oversee a team of dedicated support staff in providing the highest quality of support to all service users including their families.         
          
To be considered, you will be a fully registered manager with significant experience of managing a residential service for vulnerable children/young people and/or learning disabilities. You will have successful experience of working with service users with a range of enduring and complex needs, coupled with comprehensive knowledge of legislation and regulatory frameworks relating to children/young people. This role will also require a professional qualification relevant to working with children or a qualification in education and a relevant management qualification. Finally, you will be an excellent communicator, confident in leading teams to deliver the highest standards of care for all service users.
