Settling Well Project Manager

Contract: Permanent (funding confirmed until September 2020)

Citizens Advice Sandwell is set to deliver a new project called “Settling Well” Our approach will be to deliver very practical advice and hands on support to migrants, such as helping their children register with a local school, helping them to access local dentists and doctors and finding groups for adults so they can meet new people and access learning opportunities. Finding access to all these services could prove extremely difficult for families and individuals in the initial period of moving to a new country.

The post will also require delivery of the Windrush Compensation project.

The Settling Well Project Manager

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and motivated individual who has

excellent interpersonal and communication skills, has experience in project management and in the delivery of support services to communities.

Candidates must have a knowledge of the barriers excluded groups in our community may face and a commitment to the aims and principles of the Citizens Advice Service.

There will be a requirement to have significant experience in partnership working and people management, including direct Line management experience as you will be managing a team of community navigators.

Candidates will have the ability to set up reporting systems and manage quality, performance and finance. 

The role will work across Sandwell and will be delivered in partnership with Brushstrokes
