Digital Producer

Circa £30,000 to £35,000 per annum - 35 hours

The RHS is seeking a Digital Producer to work within their expanding Digital department to play a key role in the day-to-day running and development of the RHS websites.

Working closely with the whole Digital team the successful applicant will be responsible for a wide range of web production tasks including implementing new features, liaising with web developers and designers over change requests and provide first level support to CMS users.

Core responsibilities will include:

• Create and deliver engaging web pages to optimise online user experience, collaborating with editors and stakeholders to coordinate tasks, content development and page design.
• Support and train web editors in their understanding of usability, web site design and SEO best practice, building and reviewing microsites with a keen eye for detail.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle from requirements gathering and writing user stories to testing, monitoring and analysis.
• Be confident juggling a busy and varied to do list – delivering projects for a variety of stakeholders on time and to budget.

Digital is a key investment at the RHS and there are many exciting projects you will have the opportunity to be part of. The position requires a proactive attitude with strong organisational abilities and a passion for all things digital. You must have experience of working with content management systems, a working knowledge of digital development processes and drive to make things happen.
