We have an exciting vacancy with a leading animal charity on a permanent basis as their new Senior Philanthropy & Trusts Manager.

This is a key role within the fundraising directorate to contribute to the development of the Philanthropy & Trust strategy and budgets and lead the team to deliver them. This will include growing the prospect and donor pools for both Trust and Major Donors and ensuring the team's donor development plans reflect best practice in cultivation, solicitation and stewardship. The postholder will lead on a small number of high-level donor relationships, including being a key point of contact for Battersea's Development Board and Giving Circle.

The successful candidate will have significant experience, and will be able to demonstrate success within their previous role. They will be an inspiring relationship fundraiser, able to motivate and manage a high-performing team, leading them to achieve and excel ambitious targets. Demonstrable philanthropy fundraising experience will be essential, as will be the ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
