TPP is proud to be recruiting for a leading hospital charity to recruit for a Head of Fundraising. The position is on a 12-month contract (maternity contract) and based in Surrey.

In this role you will deliver on the charity's leading campaign to fund a specialist baby care unit. From this you will be responsible for the line management of 5 people (3 fundraisers, 1 marketer and an administrator). You will have budget responsibility working towards an income target of £700k. Most of the charity's income comes from individuals and legacy, with schools and community giving growing. Additionally, there is a real potential for someone to improve corporate fundraising. When not managing day to day activities you will be developing the 2020 fundraising strategy working closely with committee members and trustees.

In order to be successful in this role, you will have 3-5 years fundraising experience at senior level or looking to step up. You will also have people and budget management experience. Additionally, you will be required to have excellent communication skills, oral and written, in order to engage and enthuse external/internal stakeholders. Finally, you will share and promote the values of the charity and lead by example.

Benefits

You will benefit from 27 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, a generous NHS Pension contribution and flexible working e.g. flexitime and 1 day a week WFH .

This role can be considered on a part time basis of 4 days.
