Benefits: 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays, generous pension scheme, flexible working, discounted season ticket loan and many more!

Closing date: 9am on 16th September 2019

Our client is looking for someone to join their high-profile, energetic team in the new role of Supporter Insight Manager. They need someone who can analyse, translate and communicate complex audience data in compelling & exciting ways, to fundraisers across the organisation. This person also needs a passion for developing new products to enhance their existing supporter journey, and who is interested in horizon scanning and trend watching to identify as yet, untapped audiences of existing segments with unmet potential.

About the team:

The Innovation Team sits in the Marketing and Public Fundraising Directorate but works with all teams across the charity, and this role of Supporter Insight Manager will report into the Head of Innovation.

The new Innovation Team was formed in March ’19 so that our client can continue to stand out by providing new and fresh opportunities for their existing donors to get involved and make a difference to the lives of seriously ill children. They also need to reach new donors who might not have considered supporting our client before, with exciting and relevant opportunities to speak with them.

As this is a new role, in a new team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence how this role and the team evolves from the start.

About you

You will be a passionate, self-starter with proven experience of disseminating qualitative and quantitative data and delivering insights to drive the development of new products &/or improve existing products.

You will also have the ability to synthesise and communicate analysis, research, insights, and findings, in creative, compelling and immersive ways to the whole charity.

The person in this role also needs to be curious and have experience of horizon scanning & trend watching to identify potential innovation opportunities and potential risks.

Specifically, you will have

- A detailed understanding of the Audience Segmentation groups (such as but not limited to Acorn, Mosaic, or YouGov), and their profiles.
- Experience working with an enterprise CRM system (such as but not limited to Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge, Care or Microsoft Dynamics)
- Outstanding data analysis skills, and the ability to extract accurate conclusions from multiple data sources.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills -, comfortable presenting to large audiences about complex and controversial projects
- Ability to manage own workload and prioritise multiple tasks with demonstratable experience in managing a complex schedule of work

The ideal candidate will also:

- Have experience of working in an innovative environment, or supporting a cultural change within a workplace to make it more innovative
- Be involved with a fundraising charity – either in a professional or personal capacity.

About the Charity:

Every day brings new challenges for our client. Every day, over 600 seriously ill children from across the UK arrive for life-changing treatments. Every day, young lives hang in the balance as patients, families and staff battle the most complex illnesses. And every day, the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs that change the lives of thousands of children – and change the world. This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support to give seriously ill children the best chance to fulfil their potential. Without donations, our client can’t help fund ground-breaking research, advanced equipment, child and family support services, and the rebuilding and refurbishment of wards and medical facilities. Their staff help to raise these vital funds for the hospital. A better future for seriously ill children starts with you.

Recently awarded with a ‘Best Companies 2-star accreditation' and placed number 17 on the 2019 Sunday Times Best 100 Not-for-Profit Companies list - they offer a range of attractive benefits including; a flexible approach to working, 30 days holiday, life assurance, enhanced employer pension contributions, and a discounted season ticket loan.

How to Apply:

Please click on the apply button in the top right-hand corner where you will be taken to a short application form to complete. You are strongly encouraged to include a cover letter with your application, and should refer to the ‘Application and Interview FAQs’ on the career section of their website before you apply.

Applications will be reviewed on an on-going basis and they reserve the right to close the role prior to the closing date, should a suitable applicant be found. Therefore, you are encouraged to apply right away, to avoid disappointment.

Due to the large number of applications they receive, they are unfortunately only able to inform shortlisted candidates of the outcome of their application. If you do not hear from them within two weeks of the closing date, please assume that you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.
