Our client is looking to recruit a Fundraising Events Coordinator to join their team and be responsible for managing their diverse portfolio of Special Events across the UK, including black tie dinners, charity race days, golf days and networking events amongst others.

Hours: full-time post (37.5 hours per week)

Our client is the leading user-led charity supporting people living with or affected by spinal cord injury.  They passionately believe that people with a spinal cord injury should receive the specialist treatment, rehabilitation, care and support needed from the moment of injury or diagnosis and throughout their lives to become independent, empowered individuals leading fulfilled lives. They are the expert voice and leading source of support for people with spinal cord injuries and their families and have an impressive track record of providing high impact, quality services for over 40 years, with the success of their fundraising function being critical to this.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic and innovative individual who, as well as delivering a series of existing events, will look to identify opportunities to expand the event calendar by developing effective strategies and marketing plans designed to maximise income and broaden their supporter base. They will have a proven track record in event management (preferably in the fundraising sector), have excellent communication, planning and time management skills, and be able to prioritise a busy workload.  They will also have the ability to manage and deliver fundraising budgets at a good return, regularly evaluating the financial viability of events and developing contingencies to address shortfalls.

Based at the charity's offices in Milton Keynes, this is a full-time post (37.5 hours per week) offered at a salary of plus 25 days’ annual leave and usual Bank Holidays, pension scheme and life cover.
