You will excel at senior stakeholder engagement. You will be capable of managing multiple projects at one time to a high standard. You will coordinate a number committee meetings including preparing agendas and paperwork, taking minutes and ensuring effective follow up action is taken. You will have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
This organisation has a small staff team and a passionate and expert membership who are active participants in developing and delivering the agenda.
Main accountabilities:
To act as an Executive Assistant providing high level support the President, CEO and Deputy CEO:
Draft the Presidents correspondence
Research and liaise with other Heads of Departments to prepare effective briefings for the President
Managing the Presidents diary and meeting arrangements
Receive and make telephone calls on behalf of the President
Receive visitors to the President
Manage an effective bring forward system to ensure that current and future issues are handled efficiently and effectively
Provide other support to the President as required
To administer the HR function within the Faculty
As a member of the Faculty to promote effective team working across the organisation
To undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time by the Chief Executive or the Deputy CEO
To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience of working effectively within a team, developing effective and supportive relationships with colleagues
Experience of working within a customer-facing environment and in delivering customer-centric service
Experience of developing, implementing and monitoring standard operating procedures
Experience of developing and maintaining robust partnerships that are mutually beneficial
Experience of governance procedures
Experience of complex and high level committee structures
Experience of providing high level Executive Assistant support to senior Board members
Managing diverse projects
Experience of using Microsoft products including Outlook, Excel and Word (to an intermediate standard)
Experience of using a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system (preferably Microsoft Dynamics)
Knowledge
Understanding of compliance issues and meeting legal obligation
Understanding of governance issues
Understanding of current GDPR regulations
