Our client is the UK's leading dementia charity. They provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change for people affected by dementia.
Position: Facilities Officer
Location: London
Contract type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 35 per week
Salary: £22,367 to £23,270 depending on skills and experience (plus London Allowance of £3,600)
Closing date: 13 September 2019

About the role:
The successful candidate will manage our client's Head Office in London and be the point of contact for the Property & Facilities team to deliver a safe, effective and enjoyable environment for building users.
The role will involve duties relating to planned and reactive maintenance, H&S, incoming and outgoing post, reception cover, invoicing, managing the facilities helpdesk, general admin and management of ID cards.
About you:
The office is the largest in their portfolio at 23k sq ft and has over 500 staff and volunteers working from it in a dynamic and fast paced environment. It is home to a wide variety of teams and people working together to improve the lives of those affected by Dementia.
They are looking for a bright, enthusiastic and proactive person to manage this fantastic space and run it in an efficient and effective way in line with their procedures, processes and values. The right candidate will be a self-starter who is ‘hands on’ and practical with excellent attention to detail and the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels with staff, volunteers, contractors and the managing agent for the building.
You will be joining an exciting and progressive Property & Facilities team of nine people who manage a portfolio of 130 offices across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. They are transforming the working environments used by our client and the London Head Office is at the forefront of the design and facilities they aim to offer their people.
